Positions:

1. SENIOR ASSOCIATE, BUSINESS ANALYST

Job Purposes:

• Business Requirement Definition - To gather business needs from relevant stakeholders and create a comprehensive document that outlines the business needs, user requirements, objectives, and goals of an upcoming project.
• Current/Future State Assessment and Evaluation - To evaluate the company's current/future procedures or processes in order to identify issues, risks, and benefits.
• System/Solution Testing - To involve in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in the role of Functional Testing by creating test plan, functional test cases and/or carrying out the test cases.
• Monitoring & Support - To keep track of the tasks and operations to ensure no bugs or defects within a certain period after implementation. If there is, to report for fixes.
• Collaboration with the internal and external stakeholders and the development team - To convey and brainstorm new ideas with the stakeholders, and to effectively transfer the same ideas to the development teams for implementation.
• Experienced in Project SDLC cycle, able to draft out project timeline, manage and coordinate the project activities and ensure project delivery within the stipulated timeline.

Technical/Functional skills: 

• Good knowledge of trading systems operating environment 
• Good understanding of business and technical framework of trading and post trading activities. 
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Personal skills (Soft Competencies [Core/Leadership]):  

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• Able to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders, strong interpersonal skills 
• Team-player who can also work independently. 
• Adaptable to changing priorities

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree in Business/IT or related field or its equivalent
• Min of 3 years of experience in financial services industry 
• Have good working knowledge in the operating environment of stock broking industry and familiar with online stock trading platform will be an advantage 
• Have experience in investment/trading in capital market
