Skills:

Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects

Good understanding of business issues and current best practice for financial management and reporting

Knowledge on SAP system is an advantage

Best industry policies, practices, procedures, activities relating to accounting principles as applied to financial reporting, cost and budgetary

Well versed in Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Companies Act 2016, Income Tax Act, and other laws and regulations

Keeping abreast of changes in accounting standards and tax rules

Computer technology advances, equipment and programs

Communicate effectively with subordinates and supervisors

Understanding and interpretation of information and prepare written reports in concise and professional manner

Use independent judgement and discretion in supervising subordinates including setting priorities, maintaining standards, and resolving problems

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent

Professional certification is an advantage

Experiences:

Minimum 6 years significant experience in accounting at senior level and involved in full fledge Finance.

Networking / liaison with internal and external customers

Supervision of staff including mentoring and personnel supervision

Personal Characteristics:

Perform effective teamwork and capable of individual work

Good communication skill and established good relationships with managers, colleagues and clients/suppliers

Conscientious, hardworking and perform responsibilities with great concern of perfectionism

Able to cope with the dynamic environment
