Positions:

1. ANALYTICS ARCHITECT

Job Roles:

The Analytics Architect is responsible for the end-to-end spectrum of data warehouse, data analytics and business intelligence within the Digital Transformation Cluster. Primary responsibilities includes:

1. Responsible for the overall business intelligence (“BI”) requirement analysis, system analysis, design, development, enhancement, testing, implementation, and technical documentation;
2. Lead and manage all stages of BI and data warehouse project work, including requirements, logical, physical design, configuration, development, testing, implementation, and deployment;
3. Has extensive knowledge and in-depth working experience in BI and data warehouse implementation methodologies
4. Configure, develop, program and/or script data warehouse, analytics, dashboards and other BI-related facilities according to the design specifications, either independently or as a team lead;
5. Keep abreast and undertake research & testing of BI and data analytics concepts, tools and trends;
6. Analyse data architectures, models and warehouse to recommend enhancements for user’s requirements;
7. Manage program and data warehouse source code version and ensure compliance with coding standards;
8. Plan and perform quality assurance and testing by writing test plans, and managing the execution of unit testing and user acceptance test;
9. Provide technical guidance to the development team to ensure high-quality deliverables
10. Involved in planning and managing IT Strategic Plan and IT Work Plan implementation;
11. Ensure all ongoing IT projects are completed on time, within budget, fit for purpose, and that project issues and risks are managed effectively.
12. Manage and monitor project schedules, deliverables, project management reports and other related documentation.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent;
2. Experience in full BI and data warehouse development life cycle;
3. Minimum 8 years’ working experience in BI and data warehouse design and development;
4. Expertise in the various technologies required to implement Microsoft BI solutions;
5. Has working experience using the Microsoft BI stack and other relevant technologies;
6. Holds the specific technical skills of an experienced BI and data warehouse developer, including technical skills in the following:

• Business intelligence and data warehouse design and modelling
• Data integration tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
• Data Visualization tools such as Microsoft Power Pivot and Power BI
• Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) skills such as cube development using Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Multidimensional Expressions (MDX)
• Report development using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Advanced skill level and knowledge in SQL Language (Query) and Stored Procedure
• Advanced skill level and knowledge in Excel Visual Basic (VB) Scripting
• Cloud experience in Azure Business Intelligence suite (added advantage)
• Big Data skills and knowledge (added advantage)

2. Team player with good communication and interpersonal skill;
3. Positive attitude, creative in problem solving and good analytical skills;
4. Proficient spoken and written skills in English.
