Jawatan:

1. EXECUTIVE, ASEAN & BILATERAL AFFAIRS

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan international travels including preparation for approvals and oversee the financial/budget management, and reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships across a broad range of regional stakeholders, including community organisations, senior and middle management, government officials, private sector representatives, international and regional organisations including ASEAN Secretariat.
• Prepare draft project proposals to advocate MCMC's priority areas in alignment with ASEAN Digital Masterplans and initiatives.
• Engage in active relationship building through active participation in meetings, seminars, bilateral exchanges, and visits.
• Engage in active horizon scanning to identify, assess, analyse potential opportunities and/or threats in any bilateral engagements which may have a significant impact to the Malaysian C&M/Digital landscape.
• Analyse and provide inputs to draft MOU texts, speaking notes etc for Malaysia/MCMC and ASEAN Countries.
• To represent MCMC at both ASEAN and bilateral engagements to ensure that stated outcomes and objectives are achieved.
• Prepare info pack for Working Group Committee Meetings, Joint Committee Meetings, Border Coordination Meetings, Courtesy visits, travelling information.

Qualification & Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree of any relevant discipline from a reputable university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
• Technical qualifications/Advance degrees will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years' work experience in the C&M Industry/Regulatory agency.
• Experience in analysing, drafting, and formulating public policies/positions/papers.
• Articulate in speech and writing.

2. EXECUTIVE, IT SERVICE MANAGEMENT

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, implement, and promptly resolve all IT technical support including video conferencing issues on-site or remotely to ensure user satisfaction.
• Analyze and check actions taken when handling and diagnosing user requests and problems for an effective resolution within the service level agreement (SLA).
• Follow up the support and escalation processes, particularly to the vendor, to ensure issues are resolved within the SLA.
• Configure, install, repair and commission end-user IT equipment, software, and licenses to ensure they are operating in good condition, with the latest software version.
• Produce processes, policies, and procedures to ensure all services are performed with high quality.
• Manage, analyze, and deploy the distribution, replacement, repair, or refurbishment of end-user IT equipment.
• Process and maintain IT asset records as per SOP to ensure governance and accuracy.
• Execute and support MCMC IT DRP/CIRP to ensure all systems and assets are operating during disaster and crisis management.

Qualification & Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant discipline with minimum CGPA 3.00
• Minimum 2 years of relevant years’ work experience. However, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
• Areas of Expertise: Microsoft products such as M365, Active Directory, Exchange, Office, and extensive familiarity with Windows OS and troubleshooting. PC troubleshooting and repair. Video conferencing equipment
• Professional Qualification: ITIL is an added advantage.

Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is entrusted with the role of promoting and regulating the communications and multimedia industry and to enforce the communications and multimedia law in Malaysia. Our primary role is to implement and promote the Government's national objectives for the communications and multimedia sector.

MCMC also oversees the new regulatory framework for the converging industries of telecommunications, broadcasting and online activities, in accordance with the national policy objectives set out in the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (CMA), as well as postal services and digital certifications.
